Developer

Droga5 is looking for a creative Developer, with an eye for UX and design, to assist us in exploring new ideas and building new brand experiences. You will be working in a collaborative, creative-driven environment and will work closely with, and support, our Creative Technologist. As a a developer you will be tasked with staying current on new technologies, building out rapid prototypes and assisting the creative team from a technical standpoint. We are looking for someone who loves diving into unexplored territory and is no stranger to figuring things out be it Javascript, Flash, Processing, OpenFrameworks, you name it.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our Creative Technologist in supporting the creative team.

Explore and stay current on new technologies.

Build rapid prototypes for brand experiences.

Limited maintenance work on the Droga5 website and similar ongoing projects.

Requirements

Front end development knowledge using technologies such as: HTML/CSS/Javascript and Adobe Flash.

Somewhat proficient with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.

Understanding of mobile platforms, experience building mobile web applications a plus but not required.

General understanding of back-end development (PHP, SQL) and some experience with data driven content.

Previous working experience with an advertising agency highly valued.

Responsibilities

Provide strategy, vision, and continuous improvement to advance the relationship with the clients.

Ability to oversee multiple complex projects with concurrent deadlines through effective account management.

Responsible for overall management of proposals/budgets/research.

Lead and mentor accounts team and to nurture their growth.

Establish and maintain service delivery framework, ensuring the team is current on best in-class processes and procedures.

Manage shifting priorities between the creative team, accounts team, and the client.

Manage work load and work process by facilitating regular meetings with account team,overseeing updates and accuracy.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum of 7-9 years of advertising agency experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or similar fields.

Experience and interest in European sports (soccer, rugby and cricket) strongly preferred.

Open to feedback and strive to improve own performance.

Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication, with seasoned presentation skills.

Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

Flawless delivery that meets strategic goals and high quality.

Ability to represent the agency and the client in a polished, intelligent manner.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and persuade staff, peers, and clients.

Proven ability to lead a team.

Account Manager

Responsibilities

Overall responsible for internal communication of client projects and goals, coordination of inter-department processes to ensure all deadlines are met and quality jobs delivered to client.

Help arrange client meetings w/agenda’s, contact reports, etc.

Draft client communications designed to introduce agency POV, media plans, creative brief, etc.

Accountable for development of creative /project briefs: drafting, gaining client sign-off, briefing with department/team heads.

Manage outside vendors brought in for the projects.

Accountable for organizing client P&L for Account Supervisor/Director.

Manage day-to-day pipeline of account activities (billing, payment collection, scheduling, reporting, etc).

Skills / Requirements

The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter who can see both the "big picture" as well as their role in the process and is able to analyze and adapt to different situations/challenges in order to attain goals.

The ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment is essential.

Work as part of an Account Management team to assist in the coordination of creative, production, digital strategy development and results reporting, client communication and relationship building, copywriting, media requests, and more.

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 5 years of related agency experience is required.

Excellent communication and writing skills.

Ability to represent the agency and the client in a polished, intelligent manner.
